About TaskHeron

TaskHeron is a small, independent publication about using AI tools to save time at work.

It is written for freelancers, entrepreneurs and small business owners: people who do the writing, the invoicing, the video and the customer service themselves, and who would rather spend that time on the work they are paid for.

Why a heron?

A heron stands still, watches, and acts once and precisely. That is the approach we try to take with tools: look closely, then pick the one thing that helps.

How we work

We describe tools using the vendors' own public pages and link to them, so you can check every statement.
We do not claim hands-on tests we have not run. If we ever test a tool ourselves, we will say exactly what we did.
Prices appear only when we could verify them on the official page, and they carry the date we checked.
Opinions are written as guidance, for example "a good fit if", never as scores or rankings.
At the time of writing, no tool company has paid for or reviewed anything on this site.

Corrections

Tools change quickly. If you spot something out of date or wrong, email taskheron@gmail.com and we will check it against the official source and fix it.
